East Fife v Stirling Albion

Just seen the highlights, Peters looks very impressive there - has tricks to beat his man and looks confident. Also, what an outstanding long pass by Truesdale leading to the 2nd goal. Inch perfect 70 yard pass which pretty much wipes out the whole team, although admittedly maybe it's more that it's bad defending from East Fife.

maybe that was kevins moment like allan moore . who was surely for the high jump had he not picked up a vital win at morton after 8 games without a win . highlights look a lot better . and the players clapping the fans nice . edinburgh will be favourites on sat with most lousy pitch to cope with. but would settle for a repeat off jan performance and same outcome . will at least be a day more suited than the ice box  that afternoon my hypothermia had hypothermia

Just watched the highlights and that looked more like it from our point of view. Thought we Defended like our lives depended on it, and at the other end it looked like Josh Peters had the kind of performance that made him a standout at Forfar rather than unnoticeable at Queens Park.

Well done to the team, let’s build on it!

I think the team should see and read the pent up fans enthusiasm from these posts. I’m sure too that the atmosphere at  Forthbank lightened immeasurably after Tuesday. Even Pete has had a mood change!

The game against Hibs and now East Fife show that the quality is there, we just have to reach that standard every week.

That was a great relief to watch. The midfield getting up in support of the strikers, as must be done to get goals and results. Good movement off the ball. Great to see the number of bodies getting into that box and real hunger to get the ball. Who wants it? Just about everybody, at last.  Real determination to be first to it. East Fife looked shell shocked with it. It's what I've hoped to see from our team.

Now it's about reproducing it week in, week out. That remains to be seen, but if that result gives players the confidence to push up on the opposition, we should find them pushing up on us less than has been permitted before this.  Very encouraging, could be a turning point for us and a pointer to a settled side that works, with a competitive bench.  Too early to say we're out of the woods yet, but at least we won't get lost in them if we can keep playing like that.

Yeah you're right to say that it was great to watch.  Could have been about 6 - 2 to us, but I'll settle for 2 - 0.  Duffy's goal was similar to Jordan White's goal for us, in the same net, 5 years ago. Great result, on a fine night, for what sounds like a good crowd of Binos fans.  Let's hope that this form continues.

2nd goal was great to watch, some pass by Trusdale as mentioned above, great work by Willis and a fine finish by Peters. Hope Kev doesn't change too much for saturday just where he needs to.
